Catching Up - Fun in Daddy's Shoes

Hi everyone! I'm trying to get caught up since the move (moved on the 18th of June). Right before we left Austin, Caroline had a blast trying on Daddy's shoes. Of course he had to snap a few pictures. Please disregard her diaper-only appearance...it was the end of a very long day.

It's a BOY!

Well...the doctor was wrong! We went in for our official 21 week ultrasound on Thursday and got 100% confirmation ... it's a BOY! Gabe and I were both SHOCKED. Oddly enough, it was AWESOME. I'm so glad she told us wrong to begin with because it was a HUGE surprise and I rarely get surprised. Once I can figure out how to set up the scanner in Houston (we also moved on Thursday), I will post some pictures from the ultrasound. Until then...help us pick a name!

Dancing With Ribbons

Our neighbor Madeline and Caroline had a ball today dancing with the ribbon bands GiGi bought Caroline. It was so funny I had to grab the camera. I guess this is what I have to look forward to from now on. I have to admit...I even got into the action and danced with them.

Guess from the Doctor

I had my 18 week checkup yesterday and all is well. The doctor took a quick peak on the sonogram machine for me, and said she was 90% sure we're having a girl. Sisters! I hope they are as close and Roz and I are :-) She told me not to go out and buy any pink yet...we'll have the official ruling at my 21 week sonogram in 3 weeks. But I think 90% is pretty darn sure.

Anyway...no pictures right now, but just wanted to share the news. I know a lot of you have been wondering!

Daddy's Little Helper

Gabe was fixing something in one of the living room cabinets Monday night, and Caroline stayed by his side the entire time. What you can't see in this picture is her babbling to him on how she thinks he should fix the problem. :-)

Best Buds

Our next door neighbor's son Noah is one of Caroline's best friends. She just loves him and his sweet big sister Maddie. Here are a couple of pictures from last Friday. The third one is of them playing chase with each other. So funny!

Dogs can color too!

Caroline has really started playing (sort-of) more with Luke and Lucy (she calls them "LuLU" and "Spud Bud." Thankfully, they also seem to really like her. Today she was coloring and Lucy decided to sit down and color with her.
