Trip to see Santa = Success

Caroline, Jacob, and I went to see Santa at the mall today, and I think it went very well. Granted, Caroline didn't smile and rarely looked at the camera. However, she didn't shed one tear ... which is a VAST improvement over last year.

Failed Attempt at a Family Christmas Picture

I had every intention of getting a professional family Christmas picture done this year; however, it just didn't happen. Here is/was our failed attempt at trying to do it ourselves. This is pathetic...

At least you can see the kids' cute Christmas outfits.

Sporting her new swingcoat

A cold-front blew through this past week, and Caroline finally had the opportunity to wear her new swing coat to school on Thursday. She loves it! Special thanks go to her Great Grandmother (aka Jimmy Gran) for giving it to her.

Caroline singing to Jacob

While I was getting dressed on Tuesday, Caroline helped me "entertain" Jacob. Here are a couple of pictures of her "talking" to him. And here is a great video of her singing to him. The first song is "Ba Ba Blacksheep." The second is "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star." She normally finishes them both; however, she knew the camera was on and she always clams up when I get it out.

Christmas Tree 2009

We are still in the process of decorating the house for Christmas (lights are half way up outside, stocking garland needs an extension cord still, and one of my village houses needs a new lightbulb). However, here are a couple of pictures of the one thing that is finished: the tree.

Random Pictures from November

Well...we have had quite the busy month adjusting to being a family of four. However, things are going very well. Here are a few random pictures I took this past month...

Caroline "rocking" her baby like Mommy rocks Jacob:

At playgroup the Friday before Thanksgiving. Stephanie and I couldn't find Riley and Caroline, and when we opened the door to Gwennie's bedroom, this is what we found. We tried to get a good picture; however, it's tough to get two toddlers to look at the same time.
