Riding the Carousel

A couple of weeks ago GiGi and PawPaw were in town and we took Jake and Caroline to ride the Carousel at our local mall. We also all road the train around the mall - 3 adults and two children in a little red caboose was hilarious. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough room to open the diaper bag and grab the camera for a picture.

Playing with TaTa

One the last day of the Cancun trip we were all in the lobby checking out. I looked over and Caroline was playing with her TaTa (grandfather). I'm not sure if you can get cuter than this. He had taken her sunglasses and was helping her dress up Minnie.

More Cancun Trip Pictures

I just downloaded the pictures from our camera. There aren't many because Gabe and I aren't the best about remember to take pictures. Plus we had our hands full that trip :-)

Here are a couple of Caroline and I in the pool. I asked her if she wanted to go to the swim up bar and get a drink. To which she responded with, "They have drinks for kids?!"




And here are a couple of pictures of Jake - doing what he does most often. lol He is a baby. He mostly eats and naps and plays.




And here is a great one of Caroline playing in the pool with Audrey. They had just put a ton of water balloons in the pool, and Caroline thought they were super cool. They had a great time :-)

Conversations with Caroline

Yesterday you were on a roll little miss...

On our way to the Children's Museum...

Caroline: My birthday is October 5th (said perfectly)
Me: (shocked that you knew this because I haven't taught you) Who taught you that?
Caroline: GiGi
Me: Of course. She is a really good teacher.
Caroline: I'm two.
Me: That's right! How old is Jacob?
Caroline: I don't know?!
Me: He's zero.
Caroline: (laughs histerically) Mommy how old are YOU?
Me: I'm 32.
Caroline: Mommy you're much taller than me. (Her way of saying I'm old.)

Around 4:30 yesterday afternoon...

Me: Daddy is going to be home late tonight. Do you think you can help me put Jake to night night?
Caroline: (turns from what she was doing and looking irritated) I can't because I'm busy right now.

Best.Flowergirl.Ever

Caroline was the flowergirl in her Tia Lisa and Uncle Tom's wedding this past month in Cancun, Mexico. Being an expert in all things wedding (well, in my head at least), I can tell you she was the best little flowergirl to ever walk an aisle. And I'm not biased by any means. Well, maybe a little. Here are a few of the fantastic pictures Erika with Azini Photography captured...







Jacob was also a handsome little fellow. Here are a couple of adorable pictures Mica captured of him. Give him a wagon and he would make the perfect little ring bearer. lol




And Gabe and I preformed our duties as the makers of the tiny humans very well.
