Conversations with Caroline

On the way home from her friend Rylee's house today...

Me: Did you have a good time at Rylee's house?
Caroline: Yeah, Mommy.
Me: Did you share?
Caroline: Well, a little bit.

While we were being "snuggle bunnies" on the couch last night before bed time:

Caroline: You my friend Mommy?
Me: Yes, I'm your friend.
Caroline: My best friend?
Me: I'm your best friend?
Caroline: Yeah, Mommy.

I hope you always feel that way. :-)

And not to leave Jacob out:

Me: Hi Jacob!
Jake: Mom Mom!
Me: That's right. And who is that? (point to Gabe)
Jake: Mom Mom!
Gabe: No, I'm DaDa. DaDa DaDa.
Jake: Mom Mom!

Videos of the kids Swinging

I took a couple of sweet videos of the kid's swinging last week. We have a not-so-nice camcorder that we never use, so I just took these with the regular camera. I wanted something to document Jake's noises and Caroline's chatter (though she was being quite this particular day).

My Little Jake

Here is a picture of Jake swinging last week (same day I took the picture of Caroline in the post below). He loves swinging and cries when you stop. He is such a sweet little soul. We were blessed with two wonderful little children.

Riding the Carousel

A couple of weeks ago GiGi and PawPaw were in town and we took Jake and Caroline to ride the Carousel at our local mall. We also all road the train around the mall - 3 adults and two children in a little red caboose was hilarious. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough room to open the diaper bag and grab the camera for a picture.

Playing with TaTa

One the last day of the Cancun trip we were all in the lobby checking out. I looked over and Caroline was playing with her TaTa (grandfather). I'm not sure if you can get cuter than this. He had taken her sunglasses and was helping her dress up Minnie.
